Red Wolf habitat in and around the U.S. Navy's preferred outlying landing field (OLF) site which is adjacent to Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge in Washington and Beaufort counties on the Albemarle/Pamlico peninsula in northeastern North Carolina.
